Dougie's Gear

Dougie prefers to keep things simple. He's got himself a 1987 Marshall JCM800 50W head ("so I can always set it to 10") and a new Marshall 1960 4 x 12 Cabinet.

For effects he has a Cry-Baby Wah Wah and a DOD Overdrive.

His main piece of kit that dictates his distinctive sound is his Fender Strat - the Malmsteen Signature model!  Thats the one with a Vintage 50's spec shape and scalloped frets. It's a weird axe to get used to but allows the player to get a better grip of the string for monster vibratos.
